Our Finance team offers a huge variety of roles and specialism across our business. Our paid 10 week programme is a great opportunity for our interns to understand how the world of finance works.
It’s an exciting opportunity and definitely more than just numbers, we’re counting on you to support our customers’ needs and to work with trusted partners to help serve our customers a little better every day.
You will begin your internship in one of our Finance teams where you will work on a specific project that has the potential to have a real impact on our business, so you will learn lots on the job. You will need to work collaboratively across our Finance team and wider business to help you with the delivery of your project. You will have the opportunity to work in one of our stores to really understand how they operate and how we serve our customers a little better every day.
You will need to be a team player who is able to use your skills and apply them to specific problems and obstacles faced each day at work. It’s important that you have an interest in a career in finance and are keen to work in a fast paced environment.
We kick off our internship programmes with an induction where you will learn more about our business and your programme plus it’s a great opportunity for you to meet your fellow interns. You will then be introduced to your team where you will get to know more about the area you will be working in.
You will spend two days out of your ten weeks with us working in one of our stores which you will be able to select from our store list. You will find out more about this at your induction. The time you will spend in store will help you to learn how our stores operate, how they link to your role or project and help you to understand our customers.
You will gain experience from working in a role or completing a project within your team which will help to give you a breadth of knowledge about your area and our business. You will find out more about this during your induction.
We will support your learning with masterclasses, and in addition you will have the opportunity to learn from others and on the job.
