We care about cyber security and it's critical that we protect our data and systems. We will provide you with the best start to your career with supported development to give you the right skills and experience. You will receive specific cyber security training and real projects to work on, which will provide you with opportunities to develop your skills further. You will work as part of a global cyber security team, and with the opportunity to work with a range of experts.
Our cyber security team are the eyes and ears of our organisation. We use the latest technologies to increase visibility and protection of systems, services and data. To do this we need to stay ahead of the latest threats and continuously improve our tooling, procedures and processes.
We work collaboratively with our software and systems engineering teams to support security throughout the development lifecycle, as well as to build proactive monitoring and responses to security events.
You will develop a broad knowledge of cyber security, achieving this by completing a number of placements across a range of security functions from security operations centre to vulnerability management and security testing. You will have the opportunity to work on incident response, security platforms and security architecture. You will also contribute to a global cyber defence effort by evaluating, securing systems and responding to incidents.
We’re looking for graduates who want to be part of a cross functional, diverse and global team. If you’re well organised, pragmatic and a lateral thinker with an inquisitive mind then we want to hear from you. While it’s not essential you have a degree in computer science or a STEM subject, you must have and be able to demonstrate a technical interest and passion in cyber security.
We kick off our graduate programmes with an induction where you will learn more about our business and your programme plus it’s a great opportunity for you to meet your cohort. You will then be introduced to your team where you will get to know more about the area you will be working in.
Within the first six months you will spend two weeks working in one of our stores which you will be able to select from our store list. You will find out more about this at your induction. The time you will spend in store will help you to learn how our stores operate, how they link to your role and help you to understand our customers.
You will experience a range of rotational placements which will help to give you a breadth of knowledge about your area and our business. You will find out more about your placements during your induction.
We encourage self-led development and we support this with a range of e-learning and face to face learning sessions. You will be able to use your own initiative to identify your own learning needs and choose the right training for you. You will also have the opportunity to learn from others to help you grow your skills.
