We want our graduates to hit the ground running by giving them real projects to deliver and providing them with the opportunities to develop programme skills, such as influencing stakeholders, managing complicated plans and communicating effectively within technical programmes of work. You will work with technology experts across the globe, learn on the job and be supported through a variety of training opportunities to give you the right skills and experience.
No two days are the same in our Technology team. You could be planning the rollout of our new checkouts to 2000+ stores, co-ordinating the development of a new payroll system or working on the development of brand new mobile apps for our customers. Technology continues to change the face of retail and ours leads the way.
You'll be at the heart of our decision making and your goal will be to plan, coordinate and roll-out technology solutions in a safe and sustainable way. You'll work collaboratively with multiple teams across Technology and the business to find the best solutions for our customers, including communicating, planning and delivering them effectively. You'll ensure our deliverables align to strategic goals, manage risks, create plans and track progress working with software engineers and stakeholders

We're looking for someone with a strong technical understanding, a drive to take on complex projects and a passion for clear, effective communication problem-solving. We want our graduates to have an enthusiasm for technology and an appetite to take on our biggest challenges.
A Product Manager will translate customer problems into pieces of development for a technology product, working closely with software engineers, whilst also looking at the bigger picture of the product roadmap, strategy & vision. A Technical Programme Manager will collaborate with all affected teams to create a plan, manage technical risks, issues and dependencies, communicate with all stakeholders and generally co-ordinate the technical aspects of a piece of work.
We kick off our graduate programmes with an induction where you will learn more about our business and your programme plus it’s a great opportunity for you to meet your cohort. You will then be introduced to your team where you will get to know more about the area you will be working in.
Within the first six months you will spend two weeks working in one of our stores which you will be able to select from our store list. You will find out more about this at your induction. The time you will spend in store will help you to learn how our stores operate, how they link to your role and help you to understand our customers.
Rotational placements You will experience a range of rotational placements which will help to give you a breadth of knowledge about your area and our business. You will find out more about your placements during your induction.
We encourage self-led development and we support this with a range of e-learning and face to face learning sessions. You will be able to use your own initiative to identify your own learning needs and choose the right training for you. You will also have the opportunity to learn from others to help you grow your skills.
