In the Customer team we create iconic brands and bring them to life. We engage with the nation every single day, through one of our 3,000 stores, on social media platforms, via the more traditional methods of newspapers and TV and through our vast array of owned media. From Christmas to Valentine’s, or Ramadan to Halloween, we guide the business by talking to the right people, in the right way, at the right time. It’s fast-paced, creative and exciting.

 

We understand our customers just in the same way as we understand our graduates. And we want to make a positive difference to their lives. Our campaigns are inspirational. Newspaper adverts, store openings, in-store point of sale, social media campaigns – we’ve got it covered.

 

We give our graduates a combination of operational and leadership development training on this two year programme. They also get exposure to working within some of the UK’s biggest agencies on flagship campaigns. By moving around the department, our graduates gain a holistic view of marketing for the UK’s largest retailer.

Training: Insights

As a graduate you will be supported through your programme with great training which will enable you to develop both your technical skills and leadership skills. Our Insights training course supports our graduates to learn more about themselves and their style. These training days are done alongside fellow apprentices and graduates, so they're a great opportunity to network too!

We speak to over 1.2 million grocery shoppers every year through our ongoing customer research. The reach of our work is huge. In-store, on social media, in newspapers, on the TV – something you’ve worked on will impact all of this.

This is your first chance to tell us about you!

Online test

These tests can be done in the comfort of your own home and help us to understand you a little better.

Video interview

You'll then be asked to do a video interview, which can be done in the comfort of your own home like the online tests. You can re-record your answers, so don't panic!

Assessment centre

If you're successful in your video interview, you'll be invited to an assessment centre which includes a face-to-face interview, a group exercise and a presentation.
