Being a graduate

At Tesco, we welcome individuality and uniqueness. We always want our colleagues to feel they can be themselves at work and we’re committed to helping them be at their best. We’re building an inclusive workplace, a place to actively celebrate the cultures, personalities and preferences of our colleagues who share the same purpose, to serve our customers a little better every day, and you’ll have a unique part to play.

You’ll be given responsibility from day one, so you can gain a deep knowledge of your role through hands-on experience. You’ll have access to a wide variety of workshops and resources, online or at our on-site training academy, to help you develop skills like building your network, developing your authentic brand and leading change, as well as looking after your wellbeing. And don’t worry, you’ll be supported throughout your graduate programme by your manager and your buddy – they were in your shoes not so long ago!
