This paid, 10-week programme over the summer will give you real-life experience in one of our Finance teams. It’s an exciting opportunity and definitely more than just numbers - we’re counting on you to support our customers’ needs and to work with trusted partners to help serve our customers, colleagues and planet a little better every day. You’ll need to work collaboratively across our Finance teams and wider business to deliver a project, building valuable skills to support your future career.
You’ll be encouraged to try new things, push yourself and learn from mistakes while you get hands-on experience. You’ll have access to a wide variety of workshops and resources, online and in-person, to help you develop skills like presenting with confidence and effective influencing, as well as looking after your wellbeing. And don’t worry, you’ll be supported throughout your 10-week internship by your manager and your buddy.
A successful internship with us can guarantee you an interview for one of our graduate programmes when you graduate - before you’ve even started your final year of study!

Our Finance internship will give you an insight into the breadth of opportunities at Tesco and it’s a great way for you to understand how the world of finance works. Throughout your internship, you’ll be encouraged to develop skills and gain experience that will support you in your future career. You’ll also receive valuable feedback on how you’ve performed during your 10 weeks to help understand your strengths and areas to develop further.
We’re looking for self-motivated and entrepreneurially-spirited undergraduates, who enjoy learning new things, pushing themselves and who can work collaboratively to deliver a project in our business. You will need to be a quick learner who is keen to work in a fast-paced environment. You’ll need to be a great teammate, and able to use your skills to solve problems. You don’t need previous work experience to apply. You do however need to be in your penultimate year of study to apply for this programme.
