Our store managers all share something in common: they want to serve our shoppers a little better every day. From great products, to brilliant customer service – we put our customers at the heart of everything we do, and stores are at the forefront.

 

On the ten week store internship programme, we’ll provide you with an insight and all the tools you need to become the customers' best friend. With the support of our programme and training teams, you’re leadership training will help you on your way. It’ll be fast paced, and the work you do will be tangible - even in ten weeks!

Support and training

You’ll be given support from day one, training with your peers on office programmes. From masterclasses through to celebration events.

Great management experience

You'll be given the opportunity to manage a team of your own for two weeks. It's a great chance to put into practice everything you learn on this crash course on how Tesco works!

Our interns are invited to participate in a task to raise as much money as possible for our National Charity Partnership. It's a chance to work with your peers, have fun, and give something back!

This is your first chance to tell us about you!

Online test

These tests can be done in the comfort of your own home and help us to understand you a little better.

Video interview

You'll be asked to do a video interview, which can be done at home like the online tests. You can re-record your answers, so don't panic!

Assessment centre

If your video interview is successful, you'll be invited to an assessment centre which includes a face-to-face interview, a group exercise and a presentation.
